Course Overview
The American Heart Association Family & Friends® CPR course is designed for parents, grandparents, babysitters, nannies, caregivers, and anyone who wants to learn lifesaving CPR skills for infants and children in a relaxed, non-medical environment.
This instructor-led course teaches participants how to recognize and respond to choking emergencies, perform CPR, and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) until professional medical help arrives. The course uses the American Heart Association's research-proven Practice-While-Watching™ method, allowing participants to learn and practice skills in a supportive and interactive setting.
